what is floating?

come take a break from distraction + fully immerse yourself in deep relaxation. A Sensory Deprivation Tank (aka Float Tank) is used for Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy (REST) and can create many improvements in both body and mind through regular use.

our dreampod float pod is filled with about 8” of water with approximately 1100 lbs of Epsom Salts and the water & air temperature are maintained at about 94-95 degrees (same temperature as the outside of your skin) so that as you initially adjust to the Float Tank, you’ll find that your tactile sense drifts away.

our dreampod float pod has been specially designed and constructed in order to eliminate outside noise.  with the reduction of what you feel, the elimination of any auditory or visual stimulation, you’ll find the total disconnection to be a peaceful deeply relaxed state…and sometimes a meditative experience. of course if you prefer to listen to music and/or watch the colored LED lights cast upon the inside of the fiberglass, that can be a very relaxing experience in its own right.

  • Float therapy creates a very unique environment where you are free from external stimuli, which has been proven to increase feelings of serenity and relaxation. It also aids in relieving stress and decreasing feelings of anxiety and tension. The effects can last long after your session is finished.

  • Float Therapy can help boost your mood in two ways. The magnesium in the water of the float orb/room helps to regulate cortisol production (a stress response hormone). Magnesium also enhances your sleep quality, which will aid in feeling less stressed overall. Float Therapy also triggers the release of endorphins and dopamine in the brain, which gives you the “happy feeling”.

  • Technology and our overactive minds of today often prevent a good night’s sleep. By reducing cortisol levels and allowing you to disconnect for an hour, Float Therapy can have a transformational effect on your sleep patterns.

    Float Therapy is a powerful tool in reducing insomnia. The natural calming effect of floating in combination with soaking in magnesium will allow you to fall asleep faster.

  • High concentrations of Epsom salts in the water allow us to float weightlessly.

    The spinal-cord and back are free from the pressure of gravity. The nervous and muscular-skeletal systems can reset as tension is relieved.

Refunds

  • Please note all sales are final, refunds are not given.

  • Purchasing a float is required to hold a reservation and will not be refunded for cancellation.

  • You may reschedule your reservation per our rescheduling policy below. Purchased floats will remain on your account as a float service credit, which can be used or transferred to another user and will expire after one year.

Rescheduling & Cancellation

  • Rescheduling is allowed as long as it is arranged at least 24 hours in advance. Should you need to cancel a reservation in advance, any prepaid service credit will remain on your account and can be used in rescheduling; the purchase of your float is not refunded.

  • To reschedule, please call and speak with someone or leave a detailed message at least 24 hours prior to your reservation.

  • Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice or not showing up to an appointment is considered cancelling. This will result in a cancellation fee, equivalent to the cost of the appointment. If you have a float credit on your account, this will be used as your cancellation charge. Remember, you can always send someone in your place and avoid this fee.
